With Andrew Ambrosino, who leads OpenAI's Codex desktop app and Space teams
OpenAI rewrote chatgpt.com from scratch in the last five weeks to run on the same code as the Codex app, Andrew Ambrosino said, one of two product mergers he called "a little bit under the radar" on a day full of bigger announcements.
Ambrosino, who has led the Codex desktop team since the app first shipped and has since taken on OpenAI's new Space product too, made his first appearance on TBPN to walk through what he called a series of mergers between Codex and ChatGPT.
"I mean, this entire DevDay is planned using coding agents."
